Why Do Orders With More Than One Item Sometimes Ship In Multiple Packages?


Some customers wonder why they may receive multiple shipments when ordering more than one item. Here’s why.

Our items are shipped directly from the manufacturers’ warehouses to you. Even if you order just one item, this reduces our “carbon footprint”, that is, less use of energy due to fewer transportation miles. Rather than have all our items shipped from the manufacturer to us (call this “Leg 1”) and then to you as our customer (call this “Leg 2”), we only have items shipped one time. That is, they only have a “Leg 1” directly from the manufacturer to you.

Therefore, even if you order multiple items that come from different manufacturers and you receive multiple packages, they have arrived with fewer transportation miles and less energy used.

You create additional mileage and cost savings for yourself. You saved all those miles you would have driven to find the items at different stores. With the price of fuel, you may even have saved enough to cover the shipping fee. In addition, you save sales tax (unless you live in Missouri).

General Shipping Policies

  • We generally ship items within 2 business days of order placement (that is, excluding weekends and holidays). At times it may take up to three business days depending on the availability of the item, the time you place the order, credit verification, warehouse movement, brief periods of restocking, or other considerations. Yes It’s Organic will contact the customer if an extended delay will occur.

  • Orders CANNOT be cancelled or modified once the order is placed due to processing activities that start immediately. Please verify all shipping and billing information before submitting your order. Contact Customer Service at 800-455-4508 or by using the Contact Us page to resolve any mistakes. Resolution will be subject to additional charges if applicable.

  • Orders that contain a bad shipping address and are shipped back to us can be reshipped to the customer. However an additional shipping and handling fee (equal to the original shipping and handling charges plus a second handling charge) will apply. In order to prevent this circumstance from occurring please verify all shipping and billing information before placing your order.

  • Business hours/days DO NOT include weekends or holidays.

  • Delivery days include everyday except Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. If you need special considerations, please call Customer Service at 800-455-4508. We’ll try to accommodate your needs. Additional charges may apply.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimated and therefore not guaranteed.

  • If an item is out of stock or back ordered Yes It’s Organic will contact the customer for guidance on proceeding with the order.

  • All domestic orders (contiguous United States) have a 4-8 business day delivery (processing plus shipping) time. States and territories outside the contiguous U.S. have a 9-13 business day delivery (processing plus shipping) time. All International orders have a 2-8 week delivery time. These estimates are based on the item being in stock and exclude weekends and holidays.


Backorder Policy


If an item ordered is out of stock or backordered, the customer will be notified by email of the backorder and given the choice of waiting for the restock of the item, exchanging it for another item, or canceling the order for a refund. Most of the time, these items are noted directly on the website along with any additional options.
 

International Policy - We Ship To Many Countries

We ship to many countries. The full list is available when placing an order. Orders placed for countries we do not ship to are automatically cancelled (and instances where actual country is placed in another address field other than the country selector).

The purpose of this information is to inform our overseas customers how to make ordering easy and eliminate possible delays in processing and shipping of your order. As ordering from other countries requires special handling and can involve high fraud rates, we have some additional requirements for processing these orders.

For all communications regarding your order, please include your order number.

Verification of the validity of credit cards is sometimes difficult. If the billing address and shipping address are the same and we can process your order obtaining verification, your order is processed as any USA order. If verification can not be accomplished, we may need the following:

1. Scanned images of both sides of credit card sent via attachments to email OR

2. Scanned images of both sides of credit card sent via fax.


These images must be clear and legible. Please do not reduce the size of the images. Please send this information immediately following submission of your order.

We ship to Canada (see special note below), Western Europe, some Central and South American Countries, Australia, and other countries. The countries we ship to are available through our check-out process.

We do not ship to most of Asia, except as noted in checkout, Eastern Europe, some Central and South American Countries, most of Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, most island nations, and other countries.

Shipping methods: We generally ship with USPS or UPS. Tracking of packages and proof of delivery are important features we require when shipping overseas.

Customs and Duty Fees: Your country may assess duties or other fees and may also have restrictions regarding merchandise entering your country. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any fees and to know restrictions of merchandise. Yes It’s Organic assumes no responsibility for customs or restrictions. Please be advised you bear the responsibility of any and all import duties or other charges. Yes It’s Organic is NOT responsible for any items seized by Customs.

Canada: Canadian residents are responsible for payment of any duty imposed by Customs. This payment is normally collected at the time of delivery. IF YOU DO NOT PAY your duties we must pay! Any unpaid Customs Duties will be charged to you at the time we are billed plus a $15.00 US service fee. Your cooperation is appreciated.
